Water Treatment Install in Gaithersburg, Maryland
Welcome to our Water Treatment Install we installed for our customer in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
When diagnosing and evaluating this customer’s Water Quality, Mallick Plumbing & Heating found Sediment, Coliform Bacteria, Hardness (5) and Low pH (5), which is considered Acidic. These conditions are common when a household’s water is supplied by a Well.
To address these issues, we installed several components:
- A Sediment Filter - To remove particles and improve clarity.
- A Neutralizer filled with Calcite Mineral - To balance the water's acidity and bring it to a safe pH level of 7.
- A Micron Filter - To remove small particles before entering the UV Light.
- A UV Light - To kill harmful microorganisms in the water.
This was an all-day job for our dedicated team, providing our customer with treated water and protecting the health of their plumbing system for the long term.

"Quality workmanship at a fair price"I am remodeling my master bathroom and I contacted Mallick Plumbing to come and provide me with an estimate for the rough-in. The gentleman who came out to meet me was on time and was very polite and knowledgeable at his trade. I scheduled the work to be performed by Mallick and Jacob was back out to do the work at the scheduled time. Jacob did a quality job and it was obvious that he took pride in his work. There was one item overlooked that I noticed after Jacob had left. I called in and spoke with Dale, who was a pleasure to work with, and he had Jacob back out to take care of the overlooked item very quickly and Jacob performed the task with the same quality of workmanship he used on the rest of his work. It is so nice to work with a company who truly cares about customer satisfaction. Thank you to the whole staff at Mallick Plumbing.
