How Sump Pumps Work
A sump pump is buried in a small hole that is dug at the lowest point of your property, where the flood water begins to gather. When water fills the pit, the motor is activated. The water is drawn into the sump pump and pulled into a pipe, where it is directed safely out and away from your home. Sump pump installation can potentially save you thousands of dollars in repairs, and you may enjoy lower rates for homeowner’s insurance.

I had an emergency after Washington Gas said that there was a gas leak from the meter from the regulator and they said that it needed to be replaced immediately. They were able to send someone over in a few hours and although the cost was on emergency rates, the pricing was still competitive among other companies and were very responsive. They had someone come over beforehand to check the leak to see what part needed to be replaced before they had the technician come over which was very helpful. Troy was very knowledgeable and explained things in layman terms so it was easy to understand. I would highly recommend Mallick Plumbing & Heating for future issues.Alice W.
