Underground Gas Line Installation in Columbia, Maryland

Welcome to our Water Treatment Install we installed for our Mallick Plumbing & Heating worked alongside a local landscaping company to provide the ultimate outdoor space for this homeowner in Columbia, Maryland. While the landscaping company was responsible for the hardscape design and patio installation, Mallick Plumbing & Heating provided the new gas line installation from the existing propane tank to fuel a grill and two built-in power burners.  

Prior to the job start, the yard was safely trenched per local code, and all necessary permits were pulled. Mallick Plumbing & Heating disconnected and removed the exposed copper gas piping from the exterior wall to the existing tank, replacing it with a more durable and code-compliant system and routing it to the fuel the main gas line as well as the outdoor kitchen setup. Anodeless risers were added to both the house, tank and behind the grill to help feed two additional burners. Tracer wire was installed alongside the underground piping to assist with future locating if needed.  

Once the installation was complete, Mallick Plumbing & Heating pressure-tested the lines to ensure it was leak-free and ready to use. After the landscaping company completed their work, Mallick Plumbing & Heating returned to make the final connections and complete a pressure test to ensure both the grill and two burners were safely fueled.

The project’s gas line passed inspection shortly after, marking the successful completion of a collaborative effort and delivering a fully functional outdoor space for this homeowner and their family.

They were able to send someone over in a few hours and although the cost was on emergency rates, the pricing was still competitive among other companies and were very responsive. They had someone come over beforehand to check the leak to see what part needed to be replaced before they had the technician come over which was very helpful. “Quality workmanship at a fair price”
I am remodeling my master bathroom and I contacted Mallick Plumbing to come and provide me with an estimate for the rough-in. The gentleman who came out to meet me was on time and was very polite and knowledgeable at his trade. I scheduled the work to be performed by Mallick and Jacob was back out to do the work at the scheduled time. Jacob did a quality job and it was obvious that he took pride in his work. There was one item overlooked that I noticed after Jacob had left. I called in and spoke with Dale, who was a pleasure to work with, and he had Jacob back out to take care of the overlooked item very quickly and Jacob performed the task with the same quality of workmanship he used on the rest of his work.
