Booster Pump System Replacement in Frederick, Maryland

When this Frederick facility’s booster pumps had been consistently failing for the past few years, they contacted Mallick Plumbing & Heating to diagnose and resolve the issues they were experiencing.

Upon the initial visit, the Mallick Commercial Service Team uncovered that the pumps had not been serviced since initial installation, which was somewhere around 25-30 years ago. Mallick Plumbing & Heating advised the customer that annual maintenance is recommended for booster pumps to ensure optimal performance and efficiency, and that the best route forward would be a complete system replacement.

Mallick Plumbing & Heating started by removing the existing system and replacing it with two booster pumps with all necessary connection material, along with an updated control panel. Following installation, Mallick Plumbing & Heating coordinated with the manufacturer to perform the initial start-up on-site and undergo operational testing, which also served to validate the manufacturer’s warranty. The system passed all checks without issue.

In the final steps of the project, Mallick Plumbing & Heating removed all job-related debris and conducted a walk-through of the new system with the property’s facility manager.

With a fully modernized booster pump system now in place, this Frederick facility can count on consistent water pressure and improved system reliability for years to come.

I had an emergency after Washington Gas said that there was a gas leak from the meter from the regulator and they said that it needed to be replaced immediately. They were able to send someone over in a few hours and although the cost was on emergency rates, the pricing was still competitive among other companies and were very responsive. They had someone come over beforehand to check the leak to see what part needed to be replaced before they had the technician come over which was very helpful. I am remodeling my master bathroom and I contacted Mallick Plumbing to come and provide me with an estimate for the rough-in. The gentleman who came out to meet me was on time and was very polite and knowledgeable at his trade. I scheduled the work to be performed by Mallick and Jacob was back out to do the work at the scheduled time. Jacob did a quality job and it was obvious that he took pride in his work. There was one item overlooked that I noticed after Jacob had left. I called in and spoke with Dale, who was a pleasure to work with, and he had Jacob back out to take care of the overlooked item very quickly and Jacob performed the task with the same quality of workmanship he used on the rest of his work.
