Restaurant Tankless Water Heater Installation in Gaithersburg, Maryland

Reliable hot water is critical for restaurants – supporting everything from food preparation and dishwashing to daily sanitation. When this restaurant in Gaithersburg was looking to improve efficiency and operating costs, they contacted Mallick Plumbing & Heating to explore upgrading their water heating system.

The restaurant’s ownership was interested in transitioning to a tankless water heater solution that would provide endless hot water while improving overall energy efficiency. Their existing system relied on traditional storage tanks, which continuously heat water even when demand is low – leading to unnecessary fuel consumption and higher operating costs.

After evaluating the facility and its hot water demands, the Mallick Commercial Team recommended installing a tankless system capable of delivering on-demand hot water while reducing energy usage. The new installation also allowed the restaurant to reclaim valuable floor space previously occupied by the large 75-gallon storage tank.

To complete the installation efficiently, our Mallick Plumbing & Heating Team utilized the existing flue pathways as sleeves to run the new concentric venting system, minimizing structural modifications while ensuring proper ventilation and system performance.

With the new tankless system in place, this Gaithersburg restaurant now benefits from endless hot water, improved energy efficiency, reduced fuel usage, and more usable space within the facility.
