Community involvement has always been an important part of who we are at Mallick Plumbing & Heating.

On Saturday, September 12, 2026, the Mallick Team headed to Downtown Frederick for the annual In The Streets Festival, spending the day connecting with local residents, catching up with familiar faces, and meeting plenty of new ones!

As a locally owned and operated plumbing company serving Frederick, MD, opportunities like these mean a great deal to us. They allow us to step away from our everyday service calls and connect with the people and communities that have supported our business for more than three decades.

A Day of Fun, Giveaways, and Great Conversations

In The Streets is one of Frederick’s most popular community traditions, bringing together local businesses, organizations, families, and residents for a day of entertainment, activities, and community connection.

Throughout the event, our Mallick Team welcomed visitors to our booth, handed out plenty of Mallick Plumbing & Heating swag, and hosted a one-of-a-kind guessing game featuring a water heater filled with colorful balls!

Visitors had the opportunity to guess how many balls were inside the water heater for a chance to win some exciting prizes, including gift cards to local restaurants.

We had the chance to reconnect with longtime customers, meet homeowners who were learning about Mallick for the first time, and speak with members of the Frederick community about their homes, plumbing systems, and everyday concerns.

Helping Frederick Homeowners Better Understand Their Plumbing

Being a Trusted Plumbing Advisor means more than showing up when something goes wrong.

It means helping homeowners understand their plumbing systems so they can make informed decisions about their homes.

Community events give us an opportunity to have those conversations in a relaxed, approachable environment.

Whether someone has questions about maintaining their water heater, protecting their home from leaks, improving their water quality, or understanding a plumbing issue they’ve been experiencing, our team is always happy to share what we know.

Many homeowners don’t think about their plumbing until there’s a problem. However, understanding how plumbing systems work and recognizing early warning signs can help prevent unexpected repairs and costly damage.

By making ourselves available at local events, we hope to encourage more conversations about preventive maintenance, water quality, and the importance of properly maintaining a home’s plumbing systems.

And sometimes, those conversations start with something as simple as a question about the water heater sitting in the middle of our booth!

Why Being Part of the Community Matters to Us

At Mallick Plumbing & Heating, we recognize that the communities we serve are more than service areas on a map. They’re where our customers, friends, neighbors, and team members live, work, and raise their families.

As a locally owned and operated company, our connection to the community is personal. The people we meet at events like In The Streets are often the same people who welcome our technicians into their homes, recommend our services to their neighbors, and continue to support our business year after year.

That trust is something we value and never take for granted.

Participating in community events allows us to strengthen those relationships outside of a plumbing appointment. Rather than meeting someone for the first time during an unexpected leak, clogged drain, or water heater failure, we have the opportunity to introduce ourselves, answer questions, and build familiarity before our services are ever needed.

For us, building trust begins long before a customer picks up the phone.

It’s also an opportunity to support the local events, businesses, and organizations that make Frederick County such a special place to live and work.

Thank You, Frederick!

To everyone who stopped by our booth at In The Streets 2026, thank you! Whether you participated in our water heater guessing game, picked up some Mallick swag, asked a plumbing question, or simply stopped to say hello, we appreciated every conversation.

We’re proud to serve Frederick County and the surrounding communities, and we’re equally proud to be an active part of them.

Because to us, being your Trusted Plumbing Advisor isn’t just about the work we do inside your home. It’s about the relationships we build and the communities we’re fortunate to serve.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the next community event!
